Anniston City Youth Council

Youth Council

The Anniston City Youth Council is a group of concerned, active teens who live within the City. Members of the Youth Council have a strong interest in local issues and civic responsibilities. The Youth Council helps to give back to the community through learning activities and service projects.

Youth Council members have the opportunity to participate in the planning and implementation of citywide events. Involvement fosters a greater appreciation for our community and helps bestow many skills that will be helpful throughout life. It also is a platform to interact and connect with likeminded peers and foster new friendships.
