The Civil Service Board meets at 9:30 a.m. every second Wednesday of the month at City Hall.

Civil Service Process Overview

Here is an overview of the Police Department Hiring Process:

Initial Contact:
  – Fill out our quick, online recruitment form for the Police Department.
  – Recruiters will reach out to answer questions and guide you, even if you’re not ready to apply.

Requirements:
  – High school diploma or GED
  – Valid driver’s license
  – Completed background packet (a recruiter can help you with this)

Submission:
  – Your recruiter will guide you in turning your application and background packet into the Civil Service Board.
