Anniston Changers at Constantine Park!

Anniston Changers is headed to Constantine Park for our next service project on Saturday, November 20th!  Our volunteers will be picking up litter, weeding, cutting grass, and more from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on November 20th!

Volunteers will meet at Constantine Park located at 1501 Constantine Avenue, Anniston, AL 36201.

As always, we count on our volunteers to bring supplies! Thus, be sure to bring any of the following if you have them: Lawn Mowers, Weed-Eaters, Gloves, Shovels, Hedge Trimmers, and/or Chainsaws!

Honoring Our Veterans!

This year, the Berman Museum will be closed on Veteran’s Day as we continue to update the permanent galleries. However, we would like to invite our veterans to explore the redesigned galleries on Sunday, November 28 with complimentary admission. Explore old favorites and discover newly displayed artifacts, including those from the Korean and Vietnam wars. Thank you to all of our veterans for your service and sacrifice.

Crystals have been revered in many cultures throughout history. Join us at the Berman Museum as we use historical artifacts and hands-on stones to discover how cultures have found meaning in beautiful geology for thousands of years.

Exploring the Natural World Homeschool Class Series

Annual registration Open August 1 -14 ($64/AM&G member; $80/non-member)

1st semester registration Open August 15-21 ($40/AM&G member; $48/non-member)

A La Carte registration Open August 22 for 1st semester classes only ($15 per class/AM&G members; $18 per class/non-members)

Each month students will explore their world utilizing different exhibit halls of the Anniston Museum of Natural History. Science will be the primary focus with geography and history added in when applicable. Artifacts, hands-on experiments, and activities will be part of each class with an emphasis on working in groups and recording data. 

1st Friday of each month (September-December and February-May)  

2 classes offered: Ages 5-8 and ages 9-13*

10:00am-11:30am 

*The upper class (ages 9-13) activities requires upper elementary writing skills.

Pre-registration is required by calling 256-237-6766 or online via www.ExploreAMAG.org. Yearly registration will open first, followed by semester registration, and finally A La Carte classes. Class fee due at time of registration.
