It’s time to strap-in, lace-up, and play ball! Registration for Spring Youth Sports is now open! Registration will run until March 4, 2023

You may also register in person by completing our registration pamphlet and returning it to any City of Anniston Community Center.

This year we will be offering the following sports: 

T.O.T. Soccer ($40)
Youth Soccer ($75)
T-Ball, Coach Pitch, Baseball, & Softball ($75)
Barracudas Swim Team ($35 per month per child)
Track & Field ($40)

Anniston City School Athletics | Eligibility Meeting | 08/04/22 ___________ Attention Anniston High School and Middle School parents and students, on August 4, 2022 at 5:30 PM there will be a mandatory eligibility meeting for all extracurricular school activities in the Anniston Performing Arts Center (1301 Woodstock Ave, Anniston, AL 36207). This includes: Football, Cross Country, Basketball, Cheerleading, Band, Volleyball, Wrestling, Track and Field, Soccer…etc.  Again, please note this meeting is mandatory. Attendance is required for continued eligibility in practice and competition!

A-Town Runners | Old Fashion Speed Meet!

Join the Wiggins Community Center’s AAU/TFCUSA track team, the A-Town Runners, for a fun day of track competition as they host the Old Fashion Speed Meet!

WHEN & WHERE: Saturday, May 28th at the McClellan Sports Complex (356 Summerall Gate Rd, Anniston, AL 36206)

Gates will open at 7:30 AM, first event starts promptly at 9:00 AM. 
Coaches meeting at 8:00 AM. 
Declaring Fees: $15 per athlete – $5 per Relay Team 
Registration Deadline: Wednesday, May 25th at 12:00 PM 
Gate Admission: $5 (Under 5 is FREE) 
Registration must be emailed to Carol Bush (cbush@annistonal.gov) 
After payment, heat sheets will be emailed to the contact person, scan & email completed heat/event sheets back to Carol Bush. 
No memberships are required for this meet. Tents are welcomed in designated areas. 
ALL MEDLEY RELAYS MUST HAVE 2 GIRLS & 2 BOYS.

EVENTS:

1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place Medals for: 50 M, 100 M, 200 M, 400 M, 800M, 1600M
Relays: 4 X 100 m Relay, 4 X 400 M Relay, 4 X 100 M Medley Relay (A & B)
(A = Ages 7-12) – 1st Leg = 5/6 yr. Old, 2nd Leg = 7/8 yr. Old, 3rd Leg = 9/10, 4th Leg= 11/12
(B = Ages 13 – Open) – 1st = 13/14, 2nd = 15/16, 3rd = 17/18, 4th = Open
