The Model City Jubilee

For years we have fondly looked over news clippings and old pictures of the Diamond Jubilee held to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Anniston, and though it was long before our time here at Main Street, it has been our desire to bring something similar back to the city we love.
We invite you to join us in Zinn Park on Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 11am till 2pm as we celebrate 140 years of The Model City.
We will have live music by Edgewood Heavy, a “backyard barbecue” competition, inflatables in conjunction with the playground and splash pad for the youth, a “touch a truck” area hosted by the Anniston Fire Department and The Anniston Police Department, food trucks, and more.
