Something To Do Sundays are back! A local favorite, every 3rd Sunday we will set up shop at one of our centers, or out in the community, and provide the youth with educational fun, games, activities, and structure!
This month, we will be at Constantine Park (103 Elm Street, Anniston, AL 36201) on Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM!
Our Something To Do days started with concerned community citizens coming together on one accord to offer our deserving youth a structured, yet fun-filled opportunity to play and learn!
Be sure to bring your most recent #ReportCard! Rewards will be given to A & B Students!

2023 Youth Football & Cheer Registration!
Registration is now open through July 20th for our Parks and Recreation Department’s Youth Football and Cheerleading!
These sports are open to youth ages 5-12 that attend Anniston City Schools!
Registration is $85 for football (includes uniforms).
Registration for cheer is $40 (does not include uniform).

It’s time to strap-in, lace-up, and play ball! Registration for Spring Youth Sports is now open! Registration will run until March 4, 2023

Stop the Violence – Community Fun Day!
On August 6th, join the City of Anniston’s Good Choices Program, Main Street Anniston, the Boys & Girls Club, Fegans’ Island Mentor and Training Foundation Corporation, Councilwoman Ciara Smith, and the Anniston Fire & Police Departments as we provide a safe, fun-filled and educational: “Stop the Violence – Community Fun Day!”
Activities include speakers, swimming, outdoor athletics, food, and organized, educational fun! We will kick-off at 10:00 AM at the Anniston Youth Sports Complex on McClellan (356 Summerall Gate Rd, Anniston, AL 36206).

Transportation will be available for those in need! Buses will pickup between 8:15 AM and 8:45 AM on August 6th. All those riding the bus MUST have a signed PERMISSION SLIP in order to board. Permission slips may be downloaded at this link: https://bit.ly/3cIj6Kf . Permission slips may also be picked up at City Hall, the Norwood Boys & Girls Club, and the Constantine Boys & Girls Club. Buses will drop children off at the same locations they were picked up from between 3:15 PM and 3:45 PM.

Youth Basketball | Registration Deadline & Skills Clinic
Registration is now open for our Parks and Recreation Department’s youth basketball season! Registration has been extended until Dec. 4th! To register online, visit https://annistonafc.recdesk.com/Community/Program. You may also register in person at any City of Anniston community center!
This winter we are offering Basketball for the following age groups:
6 & Under
8 & Under
10 & Under
12 & Under
14 & Under
The cost to register is $70 per child, and $65 per additional child. You may download a physical registration form here. Once completed, you may return it to any City of Anniston community center.
The Skills Clinic will occur on Dec. 4th at the Anniston Aquatic & Fitness Center (130 Summerall Gate Rd, Anniston, AL 36205).
The 6 & Under and 8 & Under clinics will be from 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM.
The 10 & Under and 12 & Under clinics will be from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM.
League play will begin on January 15, 2022!
