We are excited to announce that multi-platinum R&B group, SILK, will headline this year’s Anniston Heritage Festival! Stay tuned for more announcements about this year’s festival because more fun is to come!

The Heritage Festival is a free, family oriented event that celebrates Juneteenth! It is designed to provide a safe and fun-filled day for citizens of all ages and cultures. There will be entertainment, games for youth, food vendors, arts & crafts, and more!

FESTIVAL RULES:

The public may begin setting up TENTS at Zinn Park on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 4:00 PM. Tent locations are FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. Please, ensure tents are no larger than 10ft x 10ft out of consideration for others. Tents will be allowed in designated areas only.

The following items are NOT ALLOWED at the festival:
Grills, Cookers
Generators
Pets / Animals
Unauthorized Vehicles

The line-up for our annual Heritage Festival is here! We are excited to introduce the following star-studded performers: 

4:00 PM: Pooh’s Hot Band | Featuring – Heidi Mae 
5:30 PM: Kim Scott
6:30 PM: J’Cenae
8:00 PM: Urban Mystic
9:30 PM: The Manhattans | Featuring – Gerald Alston
The fun will kick-off at 2:00 PM with vendors, games, and activities. Music will then hit the stage at 4:00 PM! Tents are allowed in designated areas, but please do not bring personal grills or generators.

Celebration of Juneteenth & 60th Anniversary of Freedom Riders!

JWith the annual Heritage Festival slated to take place on August 28th this year, come join us Saturday, June 26th at Zinn Park (101 W 14th St, Anniston, AL 36201) starting at 2:00 PM, to celebrate Juneteenth and the 60th Anniversary of the Freedom Riders!
 
There will be public speakers, music, inflatables, food/merchandise vendors, and more!
 
Entertainment will include performances by:

Sherry Reaves
The Music Box
 
After the celebration, join the National Park Service for the 1st showing of their summer movie series, as we honor the 60th Anniversary of the Freedom Rides!
