Something To Do Sundays at Constantine Park! (5/21/23)

Something To Do Sundays are back! A local favorite, every 3rd Sunday we will set up shop at one of our centers, or out in the community, and provide the youth with educational fun, games, activities, and structure!
This month, we will be at Constantine Park (103 Elm Street, Anniston, AL 36201) on Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM!
Our Something To Do days started with concerned community citizens coming together on one accord to offer our deserving youth a structured, yet fun-filled opportunity to play and learn!

Anniston Changers at Norwood Park! (03/18/23)

The Anniston Changers are BACK, and we invite all those interested to come out and volunteer with us on Saturday, March 18th, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Norwood Park!

Our meeting location will be in the parking lot of Norwood Park: 420 W. 29th St, Anniston, AL 36201
We will be working to clean up the areas and neighborhoods around the park, so be sure to bring any lawn equipment you can! We will be picking up litter as well!

7th Annual Judkins Family Christmas BBQ!

The 7th Annual Judkins Family Christmas BBQ will take place on Sunday, December 25, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Carver Community Center (720 W. 14th Street, Anniston, AL 36201)!
There will be free food, fellowship, and music from acts such as N2 Christ & Mary Culpepper Community Choir!

The menu will include Ribs, Chicken, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, and Sides! Delivery will be available for disabled citizens, simply reach out to 256-591-5194 to set it up!
Thanksgiving Community Cleanup! | 11/19/22

Boozerbeam is feeling thankful this Fall season, and wanted to give back to their surrounding community! Thus, we invite all those interested to come out and volunteer with the Boozerbeam staff on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 7:00 AM until 10:00 AM, as they sponsor an Anniston Changers clean up event!

APD Annual Christmas Toy Drive!

The Anniston Police Department is excited to announce the kickoff of its annual Christmas Toy Drive! We hope you can help us make some little ones smile this holiday season by dropping off toy donations at the Anniston Police Department (174 W 13th St, Anniston, AL 36201).
We will be accepting donations from November 1, 2022 until Friday, Dec. 9th! Afterwards, we will host the Toy Drive give-away at the Station on Friday, Dec. 16th.

Anniston Changers at the Carver Center!

The Anniston Changers are headed to the Carver Community Center this month! This project marks our 2-Year anniversary of monthly service projects!
Before we celebrate though, there is work to do! So, we need your help! We will be tackling trash piles that have been left out on the roadside or illegally dumped, as well as picking up litter around the community, and more!
Volunteers will meet at the Carver Community Center Parking Lot (720 W 14th St, Anniston, AL 36201) on Saturday, October 29th! We plan to work from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM!

From the meeting point, volunteers will be assigned to areas of town to pick up any piles they see! So if you have a truck or trailer, and want to make an impact on your community, please join us on Saturday to be the Change! Other volunteers will work the area around Carver on foot, so there will be something for everyone to help with!
Also, for those that can’t make the project, no need to worry! There will be rolloff dumpsters at Pelham Park, the Carver, Norwood Hodges, and South Highland Centers all day Saturday (10/29/22) for free use for all!

United Way’s Day of Action!

United Way of East Central Alabama would like to invite you to make a BIG IMPACT on our community! On Tuesday, October 25 from 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m., 250 volunteers at each location will assemble and package 50,000 meals for our local food pantries and shelters to help fight against hunger in Calhoun County.
To show our appreciation, volunteers will receive a free t-shirt and enjoy a complimentary breakfast . By volunteering for this event YOU WILL DIRECTLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE in the lives of our friends and neighbors.
This event is limited to the first 500 registered.
