It’s Been A Long Time Coming! After many years, Carver Community Center will be a site for summer camp this year.
Camp begins in June and will end in August (specific dates are TBA). Our summer camp is a 10 week camp designed for school age children ages 5-12. Camp begins at 7:00 AM and ends at 5:30 PM Monday-Friday.

Our camp will be filled with fun activities, trips, & reading enrichment. Lunch & Snacks will be provided daily (IF YOUR CHILD REQUIRES SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS FOR LUNCH OR SNACKS PLEASE PROVIDE THEIR LUNCH & SNACKS DAILY. SNACKS WILL ALSO BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE).

WOULD YOU LIKE TO GO AHEAD AND CONFIRM? IN ORDER TO HOLD A SPOT FOR YOUR CHILD BEFORE THE SUMMER RUSH THE BELOW AMOUNT WILL BE DUE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THIS AMOUNT COVERS REGISTRATION & THE FIRST WEEK OF CAMP:

$60 {CHILD ON CAMPER-SHIP}
$80 {RESIDENTS OF CALHOUN COUNTY}
$85 {NON-RESIDENTS}

Carver Center Chili Cook-Off!

CALLING ALL COOKS & FOOD LOVERS!!!!!!

Are you the best cook in Calhoun County? Prove it by entering into Carver Community Center’s Chili Cook-Off!

Carver’s Chili Cook-Off is scheduled for Saturday, January 29, 2022 starting at 12PM and ending at 2PM inside the gymnasium. To sample all chili, the cost is $2. To purchase a bowl of chili, the cost is $5.

If you would like to be a chili contestant please contact Carver Community Center at 256-231-7630 and ask for Recreation Leader Derwin Perry by Monday, January 24th.

All contestants must meet at Carver Community Center on Thursday, January 27th at 6:00 PM for an informational meeting.

Annual Thanksgiving Feeding at Carver!

The Carver Community Center will have Thanksgiving meals prepared for those seeking a free, warm meal on Thanksgiving Day!

The meals will be available on Thursday, November 25th from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Carver Center (720 W. 14th Street, Anniston, AL 36201). 

All meals will be take-out only, and they will remain available while supplies last! For more information, or to learn how you can volunteer to assist this event, please call the Carver Community Center at: 256-231-7630.

Life City’s Free Basketball Fundamentals Camp at Carver Center

Carver Community Center will host The Life City’s “FREE” Basketball Fundamentals Camp June 23rd-June 24th from 9am until 4pm each day.

Brannon Asbury will be the camp instructor with special guest Gerald Wallace!

Camp is for boys & girls ages 7 through 13. Lunch will be provided!

Softball Fundamentals Camp | Carver Community Center

Carver Community Center will be giving a small fundamentals camp on May 22nd from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Teams or individuals of all ages come out and learn the keys to better base running, catching, discipline on the field and sportsmanship‼️

COVID Vaccination | 2nd Dose

The second round of COVID vaccinations will be available on April 14, 2021 at Carver Community Center from 1-3 p.m. No appointment needed. (The second dose is ONLY for individuals who received their first dose on March 19, 2021)
