Main Street Anniston has teamed up with the Anniston Police Department to bring you a spicy event that’s all about fun, community, and giving back!

Local officers and community teams are going head-to-head to claim the title of Anniston’s Best Bowl of Chili! Who will come out on top?

Admission:
$10 at the door.
Includes 5 sampling tickets, drinks, condiments, AND a voting ticket for People’s Choice – Best Chili.
Want more chili? Purchase a bowl of your favorite for just $5 (while supplies last)!
This is a family-friendly event, and all proceeds go toward helping local kids this holiday season.

2026 Calhoun County Veterans Day Parade
Main Street Anniston will host the annual Calhoun County Veterans Day Parade on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, starting at: 2:00 PM CT. The parade will be in Downtown Anniston, following the same route as the annual Christmas Parade
Join us in honoring the brave men and women who have served our nation! The Main Street Anniston Veterans Day Parade will celebrate our local heroes with patriotic floats, marching bands, community groups, and veterans’ organizations.
To participate, simply complete the parade application and submit it by mail or email (submission information is on application). There is no entry cost for the parade. Anniston Changers | Woodstock 5K (07/25/26)
It’s that time again! The Anniston Changers are back for another service project, and this time we will be working the Woodstock 5K Race Course on July 25, 2026! The annual Woodstock 5K will be taking place on August 1st, thus we want to do our part to help the area look its best for all the participants!

On Saturday, July 25th, we ask that you come and volunteer with us to clean-up the areas around the Woodstock 5K Race Course from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM!
Volunteers will meet in the parking lot of the Anniston High School: 1301 Woodstock Ave, Anniston, AL 36207.
At this project, we will mainly be focusing on mowing properties and litter pick-up! Thus, please bring lawnmowers, landscaping tools, and gloves! There will be some other tasks as well, so feel free to come and help out in any way that you can!

Join us at Centennial Memorial Park in Anniston for the 36th Annual Memorial Day Ceremony honoring our military men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of service on May 25, 2026.
