Join the AM&G Education Staff on a special walk-up Discovery Tour of the Berman Museum Collections Department. Discovery Tours are intended for everyone ages 10 and up. Tours will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis and are limited to 10 guests each session. This special tour is $18 per person and includes a self-guided tour of the Berman Museum galleries. Join Alabama Cooperative Extension Agent, Tammy Hall each Wednesday for Learn, Grow, Eat, and Go! Learn, Grow, Eat, and Go! (LGEG) is the research and evidence-based curriculum project of the Junior Master Gardener Program that combines academic achievement, gardening, nutrient-dense food experiences, physical activity, and family engagement. This linear set of hands-on, proven lessons, will help students better understand plants and how plants provide for people’s needs. The curriculum features opportunities for the students to participate in fresh vegetable tastings/evaluations, simple recipe demos, and physical activities that research shows can improve on-task behavior and academic performance.
