    • *Anyone applying for a new business license or renewal must first contact the Finance Department at 256-231-7716 or licensing@annistonal.gov after filling out the application to determine the amount to pay.

Information on Garbage Fee Exemptions:

Anniston Garbage Exemptions: 

  • Some Anniston residents may qualify for a garbage fee exemption based on income requirements. For questions, please contact Jasmine Smith (Revenue Compliance) at 256-231-7718 or via email at jasmine.smith@annistonal.gov. 

  • To qualify for garbage fee exemptions, please complete the application linked below and turn it back in to our Revenue Compliance Officer at: jasmine.smith@annistonal.gov.
