Grand-Opening | United States Courthouse!

Grand opening ceremony: 10:00am

•  The morning will begin with the ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:00am. Weather permitting, we will hold the ceremony on the front steps, with seating on the sidewalks and street.  The ceremony will last about an hour and feature speakers and songs/presentations from area public schools.

Public tours: ~11:00am to 1:00pm

•  Once the ribbon is cut, we will open the doors to the public so you can see what we’ve been building for the past two years. We think you’ll be impressed!

Location & Parking

•  The courthouse is located at 1100 Gurnee Avenue, Anniston AL 36201. The city will close Gurnee Avenue in front of the building for the ceremony. Otherwise, you may park on the street or in any of the surrounding city lots for free.
