Finance DepartmentThe City of Anniston Finance Department is responsible for a number of duties and services. Primary functions include accounting, budgeting, managing and investing cash, managing debt, paying invoices, executing payroll, billing receivables, collecting receivables (business licenses, garbage fee collections, animal control fees, taxi licenses and others) and human resources management. The Department is responsible for City records, financial reporting, purchasing, and maintaining all operating equipment and supplies attributable to these operations. The Department is also responsible for technology information services -- computers, networks, telephones.
